From the 26th to the 30th of October 2015 colleagues from Sweden, England and Italy met in Bassa Reggiana within the European project BRIC: childhood, public spaces and democracy. An intense week, full of moments of exchange and sharing of educational thoughts and practices, with different point of views and challenging questions that offers us the possibility to see our educational experiences from new perspectives.
The week has offered many new ideas that we want to gather and elaborate in order to realize the objectives of the project: making childhood visible in the community and give the children the possibility to experience their neighborhoods, cities and surroundings. Because the children have the right to the city and the places where they live, and vice versa the city and the territory has the right to encounter the richness of thoughts and creativity of the children.
